(Note: - Tamilnadu players should be recommended by Tamilnadu State Chess Association )

No request towards waiver of entry fee will be entertained.

There will be a discount of 15% of entry fees for those who remit their entry fees on or before 07.12.2009.

The last date of entry:                              31st December, 2009

Entries with late fee of Rs. 500      1^st to 15^th January 2010

Please note that this entry fee structure is valid only until 31^st December 2009. Thereafter till 15^th January 2010 the participants will have to pay Rs. 500/- extra. Entries will also be accepted at the venue till 17:00 Hrs. on 24^th January 2010 with a late fee of Rs. 1,000/-. No request towards waiver of entry fee or waiver of late fee will be entertained.

Registration:

AICF registration fee for 2009-10 is compulsory for all Indian participants. The registration fee of Rs. 250/- will be accepted at the venue for the convenience of the players.

Accommodation:

All participants will be provided free accommodation.  The accompanying persons will have to bear their own expenses.

Weather:

The Weather in Tamilnadu during January is expected to be pleasant.

Tournament Rules:

System of Play:

The tournament will be conducted as per FIDE Laws of Chess and FIDE Swiss System with 11 rounds.

Tie Break:

In case of a tie, the latest FIDE Rules shall come in to effect. The Cash prizes however will be shared.
